When upgrading the Password Server to v2..6 the installer may failure with an error updating settings.
When you check the AAPSSetupLog.log located in "C:\Program Files\Scorpion Software\AAPS_Setup_V26" the following error is seen.
"Unable to insert setting 48 int he settings table"
The v2.6 installer is not able to write to a table for the new Password Server App catalog.
- Check "C:\Program Files\Scorpion Software\AAPS_Setup_V26" for a .PSB backup file. If not copy your most recent backup to the Desktop.
- Perform a clean install of Password Server v2.6 following this guide.
Note: Do not attempt to use install w/backup as this generates the same failure.
- Perform a Password Server restore following this guide.
- This will return functionality to your Password Server with the most recent version.
Password Server v2.5.3 or older unless otherwise noted upgraded to v2.6.1
