After manually starting the service either by running the AuthAnvil Configuration Wizard or directly in Services, the error "Invalid Parameter Detected - Please verify your subscription setting in the AuthAnvil Configuration Wizard - Service Stoppping" is added to the AuthAnvil event log source.
The subscription account is marked as "Not Setup" in the customer portal, usually because of a negative credit balance. After 3 days of connection attempts the service shuts down, causing authentication attempts to fail. Manually starting the service gets it running again, up to a maximum of 30 days without being able to authenticate.
Either log into the customer portal at https://customer.scorpionsoft.com and purchase enough subscription credit in the online store (https://customer.scorpionsoft.com/Store_Software.aspx) to give yourself a positive balance, or, if you would prefer to use a credit card, contact customer support (email@example.com) to get your account configured.
Next, Launch the services console (services.msc) and restart the AuthAnvil Licensing Manager service. Within a few minutes it will attempt to connect to the subscription and will note success or failure in the AuthAnvil event log, viewable in the Windows Event Viewer.
