Before upgrading to a new iOS there are 2 steps you should complete to make sure the AuthAnvil SoftToken continues to function.
- Manually backup your iPhone by connecting it to iTunes, right-clicking on the device, and clicking "Back Up".
- Sync your apps.
In order to properly keep both the AuthAnvil SoftToken and the token key active, you need to do both the sync and backup. To read more about syncing apps and backing up data on your iPhone, see the following Apple KB article:http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
