Requesting a xml rules file for SNMP traps to be created for a device

To allow traps to be displayed intelligibly, and to associate the proper priority, a rules file is generally created. You may read up more about rules files under the chapter "Message Handler for Traps and Logs" at http://help.kaseya.com/webhelp/EN/tv/7000000/index.asp#16774.htm (pdf for the User Guide is available at http://help.kaseya.com/webhelp/EN/tv/7000000/EN_traverse70.pdf#zoom=70&navpanes=0

To start the process, kindly provide the MIB files that describe the traps generated by the device. The MIB files will be available on the system or you may get them from the system vendor.

Next, generate some trap messages from the system to the DGE/DGEX the system is configured against and attach the <TRAVERSE_HOME>\logs\messages.log to the Support ticket.
