How can I provide support information about my gateway to the client?

QUESTION

As the BYOD Gateway Admin, I want to provide support and contact information to any users accessing my gateway.

ANSWER

The gateway can provide contact/support information about your gateway to iOS Secure Browser clients. The BYOD Gateway Data Directory contains a file named "support.html". This information is shown to the Secure Browser if the user selects the blue chevron to the right of the Gateway Name in the sites list

 

Selecting the blue chevron flips the page to show the "back of page" support information included in thesupport.html file.

The Gateway Admin should include support/contact information to help users if they are having any problems with your gateway. Simply edit the support.html file located in your BYOD Gateway Data Directory to include your specific support and contact information.
