When sending emails from the Services desk it takes a long time, with the emails sitting in the out bound email queue for a long period of time.
You may have also noticed that other emails such as emails being sent directly from alarm conditions do not sit in the queue for a long time and are sent relatively quickly.
By default the Service desk does not send e-mails straight away. Instead the service desk will wait 5 minutes before it attempts to send an email.
This time can be changed to 1 minute to speed up e-mail delivery.
