Running "Connect Client" or "Connect Anti Malware/Virus" for KAM, KAV, or KES times out when migrating to a new server

PROBLEM:

In cases where migrating the agents from an old Kserver to a new Kserver where the database is not migrated but would like to be able to connect the existing endpoint installations that have KAM, KAV, or KES to the new Kserver. This can be done by running "Connect Client" for KES or "Connect Anti Malware/Virus" for KAM/KAV. However if selecting many machines at the same time the connection process times out for all selected machines. 

 

SOLUTION:

Run "Connect Client" or "Connect Anti Malware/Virus" on no more than 5 machines at any given time. Selecting more machines may cause the process to time out and appear as failed on the VSA.
