New Image Password displayed in 'single quotes'

Problem

On Backup > Configure > Image Password page, any new password (applied using "Change" button) is displayed in single quotation marks.

Cause

  • the problem has been documented
  • this is a cosmetic issue, which does not affect functionality of Backup or Recovery tasks
  • when using Acronis console or "Universal Restore" boot media to access the images, the quotation marks should not be used when prompted for the password

Solution

  • problem is resolved in patch release R9.1.0.1 - http://help.kaseya.com/webhelp/EN/RN/index.asp#31573.htm
