Why was no alarm generated when Resident Shield found a threat and was not able to heal?
The current AVG api does not provide a call when a threat is found via Resident Shield; and is marked as 'Unable to Heal'.
No Alarm, Ticket, or email are generated; even if your Alarm Set is defined to report 'Threats Detected and Not Healed'.
The 'Threats Detected and Not Healed' Alarm Set option only applied to threats found via a Full Scan.
We are exploring this issue with AVG and hope to have a fix in future releases.
The workaround is to monitor your Threats via View Threats and take appropriate action.
