How Does The Hot and Pin Function Work?

The Hot and Pin function are designed for users to have access to their newly created or favorite phishing kits and training courses readily available when creating campaigns.

Hot Icon

Hot Icon: The Hot icon, when enabled, will last for 14 days.

  • When new global phishing kits or training courses are added to BullPhish ID they will be marked as hot for all users.
  • To select a training course to be hot, go to the Training Course page. From there, the left side of the table will show the Hot Icon. Select the icon and the course will be hot for 14 days
    • Global courses will not have the Hot option available for users
  • To select a phishing kit to be hot, go to the Phishing Kit page. From there, the left side of the table will show the Hot Icon. Select the icon and the course will be hot for 14 days

Where to find the Hot icon when I am creating a campaign?

  • When creating training campaigns, the Hot Icon is located under the My Courses section of the page. Once selected the user will see all kits that have been selected
  • When creating phishing campaigns, the Hot Icon is located on the Kits Step on the left side.

Pin Icon

Pin Icon: The Pin icon, when enabled, will stay until it is disabled

  • Selecting the pin icon will give priority visibility to all phishing kits and training courses selected
  • Both global and created training courses and Phishing kits can be pinned
  • To pin a training course go to the Training Course page. From there, the left side of the table will show the Pin Icon. Select the icon and the selected courses will be available at the top of the My Courses section on Create Training Campaign
  • To pin a phishing kit, go to the Phishing Kit page. From there, the left side of the table will show the Pin Icon. Select the icon and selected kits will be available at the top of the Kit Selection section of the Kits Step.
