Chapter 3: BullPhish ID Dashboard and Organization Modules

Dashboard Module

When you log into BullPhish ID, you will see a dashboard and a navigation bar on the left-hand side of your screen. The navigation bar is your direct hub for all services and support tools for the BullPhish ID application.

If you log into BullPhish ID as a Partner Administrator/Partner Agent, you can view your organization's information and statistical data on the dashboard.

If you log into BullPhish ID as a Privileged User/Standard User, you can view your organization along with statistical data on the dashboard.

Note: To ensure Dashboard data loads at the optimum speed, data requirements have been implemented for MSP and Portfolio organizations. MSP Dashboard statistics are based only on the MSP's direct SMBs. The statistics don't include the SMBs associated with the partner's MMEs. The Portfolio Dashboard does not display any data until an organization is selected in the drop-down list, then data is displayed for the selected organization.

Once you have access to the dashboard, you can view the following features on the BullPhish ID home page:

  • License Consumption Cards: License Consumption cards let MSPs know how many Phishing and Training subscriptions have been used by their child organization and how many remain. To increase or decrease the number of licenses, contact your account manager.
  • Graphs: The objective of this dashboard is to provide clear and accurate information regarding campaigns. The screen's center shows the graphical representation of the Phishing and Training campaign data that BullPhish offers. You can hover your mouse over the individual bars to view the data in detail.
    • You have the ability to click on any specific graphs and move to the view campaigns page. (if you click on the Completed status of the phishing campaign - you will be redirected to the "View all campaigns" page of the phishing campaign with a pre-selected filter with status = completed).
    • The bar graphs show Phishing Simulation Campaigns and Training & Awareness Campaigns in their appropriate Completed, In Progress, and Scheduled statuses.

Child Organizations: As an MSP or MME, you can view your child organizations via the dropdown menu on the upper left of the page.

When selecting your organization via the dropdown menu, you will be taken to that SMB's dashboard and will see the following information:

    • Bar graphs that show the SMB organizations Phishing Simulation and Training & Awareness campaigns in completed, in progress, and scheduled status
    • Phishing Campaign Results graph with the following information:
      • No Action: The campaigns were sent to the users, but no action has been taken on the sent email, i.e., the email has not been opened yet.
      • Opened Email: Users opened the email. However, they haven't clicked any links yet.
      • Clicked Link: Users opened the email and clicked the campaign link.
      • Submitted Data: Users have taken action against the email and submitted data.
Note: On the phishing landing page, if a user clicks any link other than the submit button, the status of the clicked link is not tracked. The submit button is the only link tracked.
    • Training & Awareness Course Results graph with the following information:
      • No Action: An email with an invite to the training course was successfully sent to the user, but no action has been taken on the sent email, i.e., the email has not been opened yet.
      • Opened Email: The user opened the email with an invite to the training course. However, they have not opened the training portal yet.
      • Opened Training: The user opened the email, clicked a training portal link provided in the email, and started the course.
      • Completed Training: The user finished the course with a Completed or Failed status.

The module is designed for MSP and MME organizations to edit, add, or delete any of their child organizations.

BullPhish ID Modules

You can view the available modules on the left navigation panel. Clicking on a module will take you to the desired page:

  • Phishing Simulation: The Phishing Simulation module helps your organization identify and measure the level of vulnerability to phishing attacks within your organization. The sections below allow you to create and manage phishing campaigns, view global phishing content, and create your kits.
    • Create a Phishing Campaign: You can schedule a phishing campaign here.
    • View All Campaigns: This option lets you view your current ongoing, scheduled, completed, or cancelled BullPhish phishing simulation campaigns.
    • Phishing Kits: BullPhish ID allows you to create your own phishing kits through an easy-to-use kit creation system. You also view existing phishing kits.

Training & Awareness: The Training & Awareness module allows you to deliver effective security awareness training/services to customers. The training module helps organizations continuously with security training campaigns. It improves the organization's security by reducing the risk associated with employee behavior. The below sections allow you to create and manage training campaigns:

    • Create Training Campaign: You can schedule a training campaign.
    • View All Training Campaigns: This option allows you to view your ongoing, scheduled, completed, and canceled training campaigns.
    • Training Courses: This option enables you to view existing training courses.
    • Training Portal: Customize your organization's Training Portal to enhance the user experience.

Note: Refer to the Training & Awareness detailed guide

  • Targets & Groups: The Targets & Groups module allows you to create or manage targets (training recipients) and add them to groups. Targets can be created initially, before adding them to a group, or they can be manually imported from a CSV file while creating a group. Once a target is added, you can also edit or duplicate an existing group. Groups can use the Phishing Simulation and Training & Awareness modules.
    • The sections below allow you to create and manage targets & groups:
      • Groups: This page displays all your registered groups and allows you to register new ones.
      • Directories: This page allows you to view your active directories.
      • Targets: This page allows you to view and add targets individually or bulk through a CSV file.

    • Modifications to a group will not affect the campaigns that are in In Progress status because group information is synced right before a campaign is processed. Changes made to a group will be reflected in new or scheduled campaigns.
    • The following statuses are considered to be In Progress status: Processing, Sending Emails, and Running Campaigns.

  • Reporting: The Reporting module provides insights that demonstrate the results and value of security training campaigns related to BullPhish ID. Click the dropdown menu to access the Export Report and Automate Report pages.
    • Export Report: You can download monthly and quarterly reports anytime through this feature.
    • Automate Report: Monthly/Quarterly reports can be automated, scheduled, and delivered to the specific recipient end-users inboxes via email.

Note: Refer to the Reporting module detailed guide

    • Email Templates: You can create custom phishing and training email templates from a central location. Refer to Chapter 10: Centralized Email Templates
    • Sending Profiles: You can create a new sending profile from the Sending Profile page. This sending profile will then be used to send campaign emails for phishing or training campaigns. Refer to How to create Sending Profile.
    • Sending Domains: You can create custom sending domains from the Sending Domains page. This custom domain can then be used to send phishing and training campaigns. Refer to Custom Domains Configuration Guide.
