How Do I Set Up Permissions For Automation?

QUESTION

How Do I Set Up Permissions For Automation?

ANSWER

Before running Automation, please follow these steps to make sure your account has sufficient privileges

AWS

While granular permissions are supported for specific Tasks, in order to ensure all Tasks execute correctly, we recommend adding the following default policies in IAM:

  • AmazonRDSFullAccess
  • AmazonEC2FullAccess
  • AmazonS3FullAccess

Please follow this guide to set up standard, Read-only Unigma permissions. To enable Automation, please also add the above policies to Unigma group or directly to the IAM account you used to connect AWS.

If you would like a more granular policy, please email us at support@unigma.com and we will send it to you.

Azure

The account you used to authenticate Unigma to Azure AD most be a Contributor level or higher. Please see this document for a description of Azure Roles . Please use these instructions to set the account as a Contributor role or higher.

Google Cloud

Automation is not yet supported in Google Cloud
